Legion
Road Animal Clinic offers luxury boarding services for clients of
Timberlyne Animal Clinic and Legion Road Animal Clinic. Our boarding
facility is state-of-the-art. We offer an indoor air-conditioned
kennel, dog beds and a staff of dedicated Animal Care Providers who
exercise the dogs in our enclosed pet yard 3 times daily.
Dogs are given a complimentary bath after 3 nights of boarding (with
your permission).
Cats have their own ward, separate from the dogs (for your feline
friend's comfort!). Cats enjoy double pass-through condos during their
stay with us.
Both the cat ward and dog kennel feature windows to allow natural light
into the pets' environment. It is our mission to make sure your pet
enjoys its stay with us.
We are proud to offer a team of dedicated veterinarians, veterinary
technicians and assistants along with our animal care providers to
ensure that your pet receives utmost care at our facility.
Requirements to board
your pet at Legion Road Animal Clinic
- We must have a current relationship with the
pet coming to board -- this means we have seen your pet within the last
12 months.
- Your pet must be current on all required
vaccinations (see list below) and be free of external parasites.
Required Vaccines:
Canine
- Rabies
- DHPPV (distemper parvo)
- KCV (bordetella also known as canine kennel
cough)
- Intestinal Parasite Test (IPT), or proof that
your pet has been de-wormed for intestinal parasites.
Feline
- Rabies
- FVRCP (feline distemper)
- Intestinal Parasite Test (IPT), or proof that
your pet has been de-wormed for intestinal parasites.
Be sure to check with the Client Care Representative at the time you
make your reservation that your pet meets these requirements!
Boarding Recommendations
- All Holiday reservations should be booked at
least 3-4 weeks in advance to ensure that we will have room for your
pet.
- We
recommend that you bring your pet's regular diet, dividing the dry food
into meal-size portions in ziplock bags. Staying on its normal diet is
less stressful for your pet, and if your pet is on a prescription diet,
it is very important to continue it. If your pet is on a general
maintenance diet and you forget to bring your pet's food, we feed
Purina EN diet diet to our boarders (this diet is proven to be gentle
on an animal's gastrointestinal system).
- Please
bring all medications that your pet will need during its stay. Be sure
to measure out the correct amount of medication(s) for your pet's stay
with us. If your pet is on any type of injectable medication, please
bring the appropriate and correct number of syringes. You will list on
the boarding check-in sheet each medication, the proper dosage (amount
and frequency) and the next dose to be given.
- Please do not bring toys, blankets, dishes,
etc. We provide all of these things for your pet during its stay with
us.

HOLIDAY CANCELLATION
POLICY: We require 48 hours notice when canceling a boarding
reservation during the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday season.

estimate of additional costs. If no one can be reached, however, you
will indicate your wishes on the boarding check-in sheet as to what
level of treatment we may provide.
EXTERNAL PARASITE POLICY:
External parasites such as fleas, ticks and lice are a major health
problem for domestic pets. Upon admission for boarding, all pets will
be examined. It is the policy of Legion Road Animal Clinic that all
pets are given a Capstar® to treat for any fleas that may be on
your pet, for which there is a mandatory $5.00 fee. If other parasites
are found such as ticks, your pet will be treated with the appropriate
medication(s) and you will be charged the appropriate fees.
